It takes you about 20 minutes to get used to the logic of the game, but once you have it, it's really fun deciphering the level. I enjoy playing it with my girlfriend on the sofa. When my brain is weak her's it's strong.. A beautiful little puzzle game, with an emotionally touching narrative accompanying it. The puzzles have appropriate difficulties, the visuals are amazing, the music and sound design is simple but atmospheric, charming and very effective. The only negatives I would say is that some people may consider it too short, some of the achievements have strange requirements and it isn't quite clear how the story fits with the puzzles.I would reccomend it to any fan of puzzle games.. This is one of my favorite games now. Simple premise, intuitive puzzle game with a mature story (not GTA mature; Majora's Mask mature)Beautiful art direction. Perfectly designed puzzles, not too easy, but easily accessible and never too difficult or obtuse to solve.I played the demo, and liked it, but thought "great, but where could they possibly go from here?"After buying the full game, I was quite pleasantly surprised to see how masterfully they built upon the game's core mechanics; to say the demo scratches the surface would be an overstatement. It's still definitely worth a play, though.I really hope they release a level pack or a sequel or something. Even without a story.. My head hurts.. A pretty chill puzzle game that will take up several hours of your time, with increasingly more challenging levels as you progress. It makes for a neat little game with mechanics that build upon each other slowly to keep things interesting the whole way through.. A quick and charming little puzzle game. It shouldn't take a huge amount of time to beat, depending on how good you are at puzzles. The game doesn't have a lot of replay value, but it's a great experience while it lasts. The music is nice, the story is the sort of mysterious, semi-metaphorical indie fair you see sometimes, but done well, and keeps you intrigued enough as you progress. The art and gameplay is where this game shines, the puzzles are fun, and are always adding some fresh new quirk or mechanic for you to figure out. The art is cute and captures a very fantastic, whimsical little world of its own. It's not too easy, puzzle-wise. Some levels had me stuck for a little while. The last level in particular required me to open paint and reverse engineer the puzzle. But nothing here is going to take you hours and hours to beat so long as you stick with it and experiment. Well worth it as a purchase!. Nice little puzzle game that I discovered thanks to humble bundle. Beautiful levels, art style and animation. Puzzles start off easy and become increasingly more difficult. Really satisfying to finally figure out a puzzle you have been stuck on. Would definitely recommend this game :D. I got this from a Humble Bundle monthly. She Remembered Caterpillars is a puzzle game where you have bridges and gates that are all color coded as well as characters you control that are color coded. Characters can blend together to form other colors (ie blue+yellow =green) and you can change colors of a character later on. You can only cross a bridge if your character is the same color or at least partially the same color (so blue can cross a blue bridge but green can also cross a blue bridge to get a yellow character across.) Gates work the opposite way, you cannot cross a gate if you are the same color. The goal is to have each character you control standing on each finish point of each map. Those are not color coded so you have to figure out how to get each character there. The game is quite challenging, especially the later levels. Oddly enough, there were some later levels that I found incredibly easy and solved them in a minute while there were others that I was completely stumped on. I'm not sure if I just got lucky or what. The game is definitely great at making you think and you have to get creative. Not know what color needs to be where to complete each level can really throw you for a loop. Some that I had a lot of trouble with, I was too focus on getting on character to what I thought would be their obvious final destination but after playing around, I figured it was not. The game is about 4 hours long, achievements are super easy to get to perfect the game once you do complete it. If you enjoy puzzle games, I'd recommend it, but if you're not a puzzle fan, just skip this one, it's not the game for you.
